This page is to provide news, information and assistance for members and volunteers of the CTC

 

Membership Information:

Annual Membership is from 1st July to 30th June and costs $20 per year….There is also a joining fee of $10.

A 6 months membership is available from 1st January to 30th April each year for $20 (a $10 joining fee plus $10 for 6 months)

New members joining from the 1st May to 30th June each year will receive a 13/14month membership...there renewal is due the following year on the 30th June

To apply for membership email the Membership Secretary and request a Membership Application Form.

 

Volunteers

The Tea Gardens Community Technology Centre is a self funded Not-for-Profit organization run by volunteers for the benefit of the community. We have volunteers who have a wide range of skills and provide us with a multi skilled workforce.  Our shop front is manned 7 days a week - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. Volunteer Application forms are available at the CTC Reception Desk.

A kilobyte is 1024 bytes

1 MB (megabytes) is 1024 kilobytes

1 GB (gigabytes) is 1024 MB

1 TB (terabyte) is 1024 GB this is roughly the amount of data stored on 1610 CDs

Petabyte - Exabyte - zettabyte and finally yottabyte all continue the above system of measurement
